1. Neatly stack your logs: Arrange the firewood in a tidy, well-organized stack with adequate spacing between each log to facilitate air circulation. Avoid haphazardly piling as this can lead to moisture absorption.
2. Ensure good airflow: Optimize ventilation around the stacked logs by avoiding tight stacking against walls or fences. Consider utilizing a log store with rear panels to create a barrier between the logs and the wall.
3. Keep wood indoors as much as possible: Prior to burning, bring your kiln-dried firewood indoors to optimize its burning performance and keep its flavor. Store it above ground on a metal rack or concrete surface to minimize the risk of rot and pest infestation.

Boxes

Our kiln-dried variety cooking wood box includes cherry, oak, and hickory cooking wood. Each package weighs 30 pounds and contains approximately one cubic foot of cooking wood. You can expect, on average, around one hour of burn time per cubic foot of firewood. Please note that burn time may vary based on several factors, including wood species, log dimensions, and environmental conditions.
